Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday, we went to my parent's ward. My two sisters were there and it was nice to go to church together. The two boys wore matching shirts so they could be identified as brothers. I still had someone ask if they were brothers. I love that they are so different, I hope they can appreciate that when they get older. I hope everyone had a nice Easter with family and friends.
Easter Picnic
We have an annual Easter Egg hunt with all the cousins at our community park. The kids love to grab their eggs so we make sure we bring plenty so there are no tears!! This was Josh's first Easter Egg hunt. He really didn't get the idea of filling your basket with eggs. As soon as he found an egg, he sat down and opened and enjoyed his treat. When he was done, he moved on to the next egg. The big kids had to save a few for Josh, otherwise he would have been out of luck.

Good Hair Day
It’s true. Today my hair is pretty “ bangin’”. Sometimes it happens unexpectedly, sometimes you have to work at it, but when it happens-it is always a good day. Unfortunately, they don’t happen as often as I would like. To celebrate my good fortune, I went to lunch with Brett and Josh at Burger King. Josh managed to get himself to the top tier of the maze which he has never done before. I sent his brother up to guide him back down. Even though I was feeling good, - I was not about to crawl up the Burger King slide. When we got home, Brett had a friend over to play and Josh decided to put my tennis shoes, a pair of loafers, a couple shirts and two pillows into the bathtub. He turned the water on and started clapping for himself…. Good boy, Josh – you can work the faucet in the tub! Tonight my exciting plans are to watch ‘Hers, Mine and Ours’ with the kids because Daddy called and said he was going to be late. A waste of a bad hair day???? No Way…

Pick up your clothes!
I have a quick change artist living among us. His name is Brett and he changes his clothes every time I turn around. He doesn’t just change shirts, but shorts and shoes too. It has gotten so crazy that I decided to entertain myself instead of getting after him to always pick up his reject clothing on the floor.
I counted on Sunday just to see how many times he really changes his clothes. That Sunday, we didn’t have to go anywhere because it was General Conference and we were staying home. By the time the first session was over, he had changed three times, not too bad. We went to Grandma’s for dinner, then I came back to put Josh down for a nap. Brett stayed with his Dad to play games, so he did not get home until around 5:00 p.m. Of course as soon as he was home he changed his clothes….He later changed into his pajamas after his bath and we were up to 5 changes.
Now that I was counting and keeping track, it didn’t seem as excessive as I originally thought. I put him to bed, read a story and picked out his clothes for the next day. After I said goodnight, I was feeling better about this compulsion to change clothes. As I was cleaning up the kitchen for the night, Brett came out to get a drink. He had changed into his shirt he was going to wear the next day. He said it would save him time in the morning....right...
